Wk 3: Digital Technology // Camera Raw Before and After Edits

Camera Raw is an incredibly useful tool for editing images before working in photoshop (that's if you still need to use photoshop!). It's simple and intuitive and allows the user to quickly understand what they've done as well as making it easy to go back to before the changes were made.

Camera Raw Color Correct Exercise // Aperture
Aperture: f / 1.4
Shutter Speed: 1/6400
ISO: 100

What was changed: Just using the color correct panel on this exercise the greens are brighter through this more clarity.

Camera Raw Color Correct and Sharpen Exercise // Vantage Point
Aperture: f / 5
Shutter Speed: 1/60
ISO: 640

What was changed: Color correction and Clarity. Only a small change in these images mainly the brightness in the trees and the subjects jersey is different. I really like giving an image more clarity, especially in a portrait that brings out the texture of skin.

Camera Raw Color to Black & White // Leading Lines
Aperture: f / 5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/60
ISO:  100

What was changed:  I used the automatic convert to grayscale, up-ed the clarity, highlights and luminance to bring out the shadows in the clouds.
