Wk 7: Self Directed // Red Wine Flat

Red Wine Flat is a house in Kingsland which a number of creative types have lived in over the years. For the past 8 years my good friend Ema has been the main tenant and she has slowly cleaned it up (well sort of), when she moved in the the ceiling in the hallway was covered with the inside of a piano and car bumpers lined up back to back. In the flat downstairs a band has always resided and music good or not so good can always be heard.

The place is always a bit messy and rugged but it's always been brilliant place to be.

I've been working at Red Wine as long as Ema has been living there so it seemed appropriate to start documenting life there.

Thoughts: I like this image best from the four selected. In particular the subject framed by shadow.
